Sea Ray Shred Time Windermere - Event Information
We have teamed up with Sea Ray Boats, Shepherds Boat Sales and Boats and Ribs UK to host a wake surfing and foiling event on Lake Windermere, 2nd & 3rd August 2025. We have found a location that offers a very large public jetty for boat parking and plenty of onland facilities and car parking. There are going to be boats for surfing and to demo from Sea Ray and also some of Shepherds / Scotland Nautique used Nautique stock including a 2024 Paragon 25! Our key aim is big smiles, tons of time on the water and plenty of good times. We want to see surfers of all ages and abilities, getting inspired, gaining coaching and pro tips, meeting new friends to shred and surf with and generally having a great time :)
The only prerequisite for entering the surf event or coming to spectate - is that you know how to SMILE :)
Yes you did read it right, it says 'Sea Ray'! So what's going on.
They make surf edition boats, with all the latest surf systems, ballast tanks and a super nice wave that is safe to surf. We have ridden the boats, they have a legit wave, we would not be using it, if they didn't. Sea Ray is brought into the UK by Raymond and his team, who own and run Loch Lomond Wakeboard, Boats and Ribs and Scotland Nautique. For those of you who know Raymondo, you will know he is a very good wake surfer (former World Champ). Raymond, Gordy and the team are as core as it gets when it comes to shredding behind a boat, they have buckets of experience and will be on hand at the event. They work very closely with Shepherds Boat Sales and between them will have a host of boats on display and available for demo.

We understand most surfers on Windermere, shred behind tournament ski / surf boats, eg Nautique / Malibu / MasterCraft / etc. With this in mind, we have decided to make this event free of charge to enter. You will get a lot for this Free Entry; you will get the entry to the Surf Comp on Sunday, a session behind the Sea Ray and a session on one of the used stock Nautiques from Shepherds / Scotland Nautique (Paragon will be one of the boats), plus all entries get a free rider vest and a medal!
The Grand Shredding Plan:
Date: 2nd & 3rd August 2025
Location: North Camp – YMCA Bay, Lake Windermere. This is located on the West side of the lake, about 2.5 miles past the Swan Hotel. The postcode is LA12 8BD
Car Parking: Free on site parking
Boat Parking: There is a large public jetty in YMCA Bay, which multiple boats can moor too.
Bowness Boat Shuttle: We will be running a boat shuttle service from The Village Marina to the comp site all weekend.
Saturday: Practice session on the Sea Ray 270 SDX Surf and demo sessions on Sea Ray 250 SDX Surf and 2 very special surfing boats from Shepherds / Scotland Nautique current used stock; a 2024 Paragron 25 and a 2022 Nautique S21. There is also pro coaching, watersports kit to demo and food and drink available on site.
Sunday: Surf Comp (biggest smile wins)

On the Saturday, we want to get you on the water as much as possible!
Your entry includes a practice session on the brand new Sea Rays and a session on one of Shepherds / Scotland Nautique second hand Nautique boats. The following boats will be on the water and making waves for you to shred and surf:

Your entry gets you 2 sessions guaranteed. On the day, if there is space available, you can ride more.

One of our partners for the event; Shepherds Boat Sales are based at the Windermere Marina Village and will be running a boat shuttle service over the weekend. Thus meaning you could stay at the Marina and travel by boat to the surf comp. Click here to see accommodation in the marina.
